About the spot: The spot of Matas Blancas is well known, as the best flat water spot on the Canary Islands.

Wind condition: Optimal geographic conditions allow the prevailing offshore wind to accelerate. In addition to this, the air on the island is heated by the sun and rises upwards, compressing the slightly cooler trade wind as it pushes itself beneath the warm air, generating a renewed acceleration witch Guaranteed wind all year round

Few words about the spot:

This fabulous spot made the island famous for windsurfing. The world’s best windsurfers and kiteboarders have training here and battled next to annually  for the World Championship in the disciplines of speed, slalom and freestyle. The spot is perfect for learning and freeriding. It is the most consistently windy spot of Fuertventura due to thermal effect of the hills. If the wind in the north of the island is limit for planning, than you will be flying here! Windsurf center and recue service right on the spot. Best season: All year around. The World Cup Championship Windsurfing Red Bull is also an highlight for visitors.

If you want to learn Kitesurf, we are the right spot. The main part of the spot is reserved for teaching and indication Kitesurf, reason which it offers plenty of space for teaching and flat water conditions.

The wind is offshore and rescue service is prepaid, but included in all training courses for free.
